The Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan organizes roundtable discussions, meetings, and events dedicated to the essence and content of the draft Constitutional law “On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

Another campaign was organized in Khavast district. It was attended by the Chairman of Syrdarya Regional Council of UzLiDeP Sh. Bozorboyeva, the head of the District Council of the party B. Uralov, the deputy of the District Council of the party T. Razzokov, veterans and youth.

The norms introduced into the Basic Law are of great importance for Uzbekistan’s present and future. UzLiDeP promotes such slogans as “We choose openness and transparency!”, “Together – to an open society!”. It was noted that the new version of the Constitution stipulates that the state will assume several new obligations to reduce poverty, ensure employment, and protect against unemployment. The norms of social obligations of the state are tripled. For the first time, the state is obliged to take measures to improve the quality of life of socially needy categories of the population, to create conditions for the full participation of persons with disabilities in the life of society and the state.

Party activists, entrepreneurs, veterans and youth called on everyone to take an active part in the referendum to be held on April 30. The event continued with a concert program.
