Issues related to financing the Olympic village and promising projects were discussed at the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services Botir Zokirov, representatives of the Export-Import Bank of China and China CAMC Engineering Co. Ltd. exchanged views on cooperation.

In 2025, Tashkent will host the Youth Asian Games. To hold this prestigious competition at a high level, it is planned to build an Olympic village in Yashnabad district. The project was initiated by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In accordance with the requirements of the Olympic Council of Asia and international sports federations, an Olympic stadium, a water sports palace, training grounds, an administrative building, a hostel, and a museum will be built. During free time from competitions, there will be a training base in the Olympic village. The Institute of Higher Sports Excellence, sports federations and institutions will operate here.

The guests noted with satisfaction the prospects for projects implemented jointly with foreign investors in Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that this comprehensive initiative is another important reality in the history of New Uzbekistan.
