Acting Hokim of Tashkent city Shavkat Umurzakov met with Vanson Copen, Director of the French Development Agency in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Mr. Umurzakov warmly welcomed the guest, expressed gratitude for the visit, and said that in Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, a favorable investment and business environment had been created for domestic and foreign companies. He also noted that along with the projects being implemented with many French companies, the time has come to discuss plans for the future.

Shavkat Umurzakov also touched upon the issues of cooperation with the General Manager of the Turkish company Çalık Enerji, Onur Yücekal.

Onur Yücekal expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and spoke about the directions and scope of activities of Çalık Enerji.

The parties expressed confidence that the pace of cooperation will be accelerated and agreed to continue negotiations.
