State Enterprise Navoiuran hosted a meeting with a delegation of Nurlikum Mining Uzbek-French JV LLC to discuss the issue of ensuring the implementation of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of July 14, 2022 “On measures to increase the volume of production, processing of uranium and the transformation of the State Enterprise Navoiuran in 2022-2030”.

The resolution determines the transfer of the share of the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources in the Nurlikum Mining Uzbek-French JV LLC to the State Enterprise Navoiuran. A task was outlined to expand existing reserves and double the volume of production and processing of uranium raw materials by 2030 with the direct participation of Nurlikum Mining Uzbek-French JV LLC.

The roadmap for the implementation of investment projects with the participation of the joint venture until 2025 was also considered. The implementation of primary production experiments at new sites and the technical and economic foundations of production were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the joint tasks of the Orano Mining and Nurlikum Mining companies. A targeted plan was developed in this direction.
