The delegation led by the Hokim of Syrdarya region Gofurjon Mirzayev is on a working visit to South Korea to strengthen an open and constructive dialogue and partnership in economy, fire safety and agriculture.

The delegation visited the Songdo Fire Station of the Incheon Metropolitan City, got acquainted with the fire safety and firefighting methods used, and exchanged views on modern fire prevention methods.

The parties agreed to send two qualified specialists from Korea to Syrdarya region in the first quarter of 2023 to train local specialists in the operation of modern fire trucks and two special ambulances.

At the meeting with the leadership of Hanjin Agriculture and Industry Co. Ltd., the Korean party’s project to create smart greenhouses worth $10 million in Gulistan district was discussed.

Hokim of the region Gofurjon Mirzayev expressed gratitude for the high trust and invited the mayor to the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the region, which will be held in May 2023.
