Professor at the University of Oxford Alexander Morrison visited Andijan State University.

Dr. Morrison met with the Rector of Andijan State University, Professor Akramjon Yuldashev and offered to establish cooperation between the two universities and implement scientific projects.

The scientist got acquainted with the activities of the university, the educational process, conditions created for students. The work carried out at Andijan State University, its capabilities aroused great interest in the guest. The professor delivered a lecture for 3-4 year students of the Faculty of History on the occupation of Central Asia by the Russian Empire and the Anglo-Russian confrontation in Central Asia. 

Dr. Alexander Morrison visited the memorial museum “In Memory of the Victims of Repression” at Andijan State University, talked with the Director of the museum, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Rustambek Shamsitdinov. The guest got acquainted with photo exhibitions, which reflect the life and work of our great ancestors who fought for the independence of the country.
