Recently, Dushanbe hosted Uzbekistan – Tajikistan business forum. Tashkent region’s experts and entrepreneurs also attended the forum.
“The business trip was full of warm impressions and useful agreements”, says Nurbek Rajabov, Deputy Head of the Regional Investment and Foreign Trade Department. – The main focus is on further strengthening investment, trade and economic relations between entrepreneurs and businesspeople of the two countries. We got acquainted with the activities, work experience of Tajik entrepreneurs. We signed 61 agreements worth $45 million.
According to them, confectionery, textile and knitted goods, industrial and agricultural products, goods manufactured by exporting enterprises of Angren, Bekabad, Akhangaran, Buka, Bostanlyk, Zangiata, Pskent, Tashkent, Quyichirchiq, Qibray districts will be exported to Tajikistan.
According to the agreement signed at the meeting in Dushanbe, ceramic tiles of the Premium Elegant Ceramics enterprise worth $300 thousand, sanitary ware of the Ideal Plast enterprise worth $1 million will be exported to Tajikistan.
Agreements on the export of poultry products were also signed. Following them, pedigree chickens and broilers of Qibray, Akhangaran and Urtachirchiq district, ready-packaged chicken meat of Sakhovat Broiler enterprise will be exported to the neighboring country.
Insulation materials, washing powders, mineral fertilizers, furniture, plastic, plastic pipes of various sizes, liquid wallpaper and soy products are also among the products for export.
