As part of the Culture Days of the People’s Republic of China in Uzbekistan, a meeting was organized between the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China Hu Heping.
An exhibition has kicked off in Tashkent as part of the Year of Culture and Art of the People of Central Asia and China, which included photographs demonstrating social life, customs, and natural landscapes of China’s Shandong province and Uzbekistan. This kind of collaboration can continue for a long time.

Mr. Hu Heping proposed to hold Uzbekistan Culture Days in China in April-May 2024 with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan and to establish cooperation between local education institutions. Views were exchanged regarding implementing the “Road to Cultural Tourism” project.

From the Chinese side, proposals were made to organize a meeting of the ministers of culture of Central Asia and the People’s Republic of China, to establish cooperation to improve the skills of creative teams, and open cultural centers in both countries.
The guests welcomed the proposals of the Uzbek side, such as creating a joint venture for the production of national instruments and an art project based on the epic “Farhad and Shirin”.
