According to the directorate of the free economic zone Urgut, to date 60 projects with a total cost of 196.2 million US dollars are being realized here.

In particular, at present 34 construction projects are being initiated, 12 investment projects are being implemented on the basis of buildings and structures existing on the territory of FEZ. To date, 53.2 million US dollars have been invested in implementation of projects.

The first four enterprises started operating on the territory of the free economic zone. Sam Dry Fruits LLC is among them.

Production of sandwich panels has been established on the basis of modern technologies within the framework of this project worth 2.1 million US dollars, in Urgut.

Another 10 enterprises are planned to be put into operation in the FEZ Urgut until the end of the year.
