Uzbekistan – Chinese joint venture in the form of Life Import LLC, established in the city of Kokand, Fergana region, specializes in the production of medical products. It plans to produce 100 million syringes, 30 million infusion sets, and 33.5 million units of medical masks and gloves.

The project’s total cost, initiated by entrepreneur Ahmadjan Khaydarov, is $5.5 million, of which $1 million is direct investment from the Chinese side. Also, with the support of the Hokimiyat of Fergana region, the entrepreneur was provided with a bank loan of $1.8 million.

The most modern machines from China are installed in the production. Working in two shifts, the company provided permanent employment for more than 120 young people.

With the launch of this project, the number of enterprises specializing in the production of pharmaceutical and medical equipment in Fergana region has reached 10.
