National Press Center, with the participation of the leadership of the Uzyogmoysanoat Association, hosted a press conference on increasing the volume of production of fats and oils.

Participants were informed about the possibilities of the fats and oils industry, focusing on the work of the association in this direction.

It was noted that attention in the country is paid to the production of local oilseeds. It is planned to grow oilseeds on an area of 305 hectares. Currently, small modular workshops of the oil and fat industry have been launched, which are particularly important in the effective use of oilseeds. They process 5-10 tons of raw materials per day. 

The production of soy flour and protein isolate has also been established in the country for the first time.

It should be noted that 24 projects will be implemented in 2022-2026. The total cost of the project is $147.8 million. The projects will employ more than a thousand people.
