According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Washington D.C., the leading producer of consumer goods, Procter & Gamble, has sent 20,000 pieces of Safeguard hygienic antibacterial liquid soap to medical institutions in Uzbekistan.
Procter & Gamble Country Manager for Caucasus and Central Asia, Değer Kurtaslanoğlu, on behalf of the entire leadership expressed his solidarity with the people of Uzbekistan and conveyed his wishes for a speedy recovery and the return of patients with coronavirus home. He noted that the company is closely following the measures taken by the Government of Uzbekistan headed by the President to contain the pandemic and highly appreciates decisive and timely decisions to soften the economic consequences of the spread of coronavirus.
It was noted that the President of the American company for the European region, Loïc Tassel, intends to visit Uzbekistan to attend the first Tashkent International Investment Forum, which is postponed to November 2020.
