As part of the 46th Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Tashkent hosted the Private Sector Day Forum organized by the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) and other subsidiaries of the IsDB.

B2B and B2G meetings brought together more than 1000 officials, politicians, heads of ministries, agencies, chambers of commerce and industry, business associations, representatives of business communities and private investors from the IsDB member countries.

At the events, issues related to the activities, initiatives and resolutions of the IsDB in the member countries in investment, trade and insurance were considered. Measures of overcoming the consequences of the pandemic were also discussed at the forum.

President of the Islamic Development Bank Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser and the Chairman of the Board of Governors, the Governor of the IsDB from Uzbekistan, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov addressed the event.
