Priority areas of tax and budget policy – under thorough attention of deputies

Report on execution of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan and budgets of state trust funds for 9 months of 2018 and draft Budget address for 2019-2021, main directions of tax and budget policy were considered at the event.
Deputies emphasized that timely disbursement of funds determined on the basis of resolutions of the President and government for implementation of certain measures in the sphere of healthcare was not ensured. After reviewing draft Budget address, participants focused on priority areas for 2019-2021.
A number of proposals were made on effective and targeted use of allocated budget funds, further strengthening parliamentary control over implementation of investment projects and programs of socio-economic development of the regions, ensuring implementation of laws at places.
