Prime Minister of Pakistan arrives in Tashkent

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived in our country on 17 November on the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived in our country on 17 November on the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was received at the Tashkent International Airport by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

After a brief talk at the airport, the Pakistan delegation left for to the designated residence.

As was reported earlier, the visit's program includes meetings and negotiations of the leaders of the two countries, during which the state and priorities of further development of Uzbekistan-Pakistan interaction in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres are expected to be discussed, the parties will share views on regional and international issues.

Following the negotiations, a joint declaration between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Islamic Republic of Pakistan and bilateral documents, aimed at strengthening cooperation in different spheres, are expected to be signed.
