Within the framework of the project “Preventing violent extremism in Central Asia”, a multi-stage training course “Preventing violent extremism and radicalism leading to terrorism” was held for 20 chairmen and representatives of mahallas of Tashkent’s Shaykhantakhur district.

The project is being carried out by the order of the German Federal Foreign Office together with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry for Support of Mahalla and Family of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The training participants improved their legal literacy in countering extremism and terrorism.

Corresponding certificates were awarded.
