Issues of further deepening comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia were discussed during a telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, on July 24.

The Russian Leader cordially congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday and sincerely wished him good health, prosperity, and great success.

Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of implementing the agreements reached during the President of the Russian Federation’s state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 26-28 this year.
