The Hokim of Surkhandarya region Ulugbek Qosimov visited veterans living in Baysun, Denau, Kumkurgan, and Shurchi districts, and read out the President’s holiday congratulations and presented them with gifts.

Centenarian Kenja Ilamanov, a participant in the Second World War living in Sherabad district, shared his life experiences and memories of the difficult war years. He noted that we must value a peaceful and prosperous life and freedom and thanked the state for its comprehensive support of war participants and labor veterans.
