On July 5, at the briefing of the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov informed about the events of the Youth Day.

“June 30 – Youth Day is one of the biggest holidays in our country. In the current Year of Supporting Youth and Improving Population Health, the significance of this holiday has increased even more.

That is why the President personally attended Uzbekistan Youth and Students Forum, which took place on June 30.

The attention of the President to young people is evidenced by the fact that he stopped at each stand in the Botanical Garden, spoke in detail with schoolchildren and students. They responded to this and freely expressed their thoughts and ideas. President gave instructions to the leaders to support the initiatives that were voiced.

At the solemn ceremony, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated all the young people on the holiday and addressed the event. It was a kind of report, which reflected the most urgent tasks of youth policy.

The President identified seven key areas for youth employment, three areas for education and five areas for upbringing, culture and sports.

New programs and decisions will be adopted on the given tasks".
