Presidential candidate from the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Inoyatov met with voters from Namangan region in the cultural center of Turakurgan district.
The event was attended by OSCE/ODIHR observers, party activists, representatives of public organizations and civil society institutions, deputies, labor veterans, and youth.
Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Shokhista Turgunova acquainted voters with the candidate’s biography. In particular, she highlighted the candidate’s efforts to create faculties of medicine and foreign languages during his activity as Rector of Namangan State University. Then the presidential candidate Ulugbek Inoyatov spoke in detail about the main directions of his Election Program.
A key aspect of the candidate’s program is that it focuses on the strong social protection of the population. Creating the necessary conditions for education, professions, and work for women will serve as a systemic solution to issues related to social security.
Taking into account the fact that the economic power of the country, first of all, directly depends on the guaranteed budget, in the direction of the program called “Socially oriented market economy – the basis of sustainable development and social well-being”, it is proposed to introduce the procedure for sending all collected payments (fines, state duties, fees, other obligatory payments) to the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“To ensure stable growth of the national economy, special attention was paid to the wide attraction of direct foreign and local investments, as well as ensuring their effective use, providing local investors with the same benefits as foreign ones”, U. Inoyatov said. – So, at present, dividends received by foreign investors from their shares are exempt from taxation for three years. For them, income tax has been reduced from 20 to 12 percent. Customs duties on more than 7 thousand types of raw materials and goods have also been canceled. All this creates conditions for the wide attraction of foreign investors to the country. Therefore, providing similar opportunities and incentives for local investors will become an important factor in ensuring the sustainable growth of the national economy.
