Presidential candidate meets with Bukhara voters

Presidential candidate from the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” Robakhon Makhmudova met with voters at Bukhara State Medical Institute.

The event was attended by deputies of local Councils, teachers, mahalla activists, veterans, young people who will take part in the elections for the first time, and media workers.

The candidate's proxy in Bukhara region, Chairman of the Regional Council of the SDP “Adolat” Maqsud Khamidov acquainted the participants with the biography and activities of Robakhon Makhmudova. The proposals put forward in the candidate's Election program were touched upon.

As noted, this program defines ideas and tasks to ensure women’s employment and improve their working conditions. Particular attention was paid to the issues of attracting women living in rural areas to family and private entrepreneurship and handicrafts.

“We will continue to work to increase the activity of women, their role in society, increase their number in public authorities and management”, Robakhon Makhmudova said. – We will strictly enforce the laws adopted to combat domestic violence against women. We will develop and implement separate programs in this direction.

The priorities outlined in the program aroused great interest among the audience.

“We have heard the candidate's election program”, says Shakhnoza Pulatova, a doctor at Bukhara branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. – The proposals and goals in the candidate's program certainly play an important role in ensuring citizens’ well-being and will not leave any voter indifferent.

Following the event, the candidate answered the voters’ questions.
