On April 30, 2022, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Resolution on Celebrating Ramadan Hayit (Eid al-Fitr).

According to the document, Ramadan Hayit in the country will be celebrated following the national and religious traditions of our people.

The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Transport will create favorable conditions and opportunities to organize visits to sacred places of pilgrimage and historical shrines on the days of the Ramadan Hayit.

According to the decision of the Ulema Council of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, the first day of Ramadan Hayit in the country will be celebrated on May 2, 2022.
