On 29 April 2021, a Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on celebrating the International Festival of Gold Embroidery and Jewelry to create favorable conditions for the development of gold embroidery and the jewelry market.

The International Festival of Gold Embroidery and Jewelry will be held on 21-25 May 2022.

The document is signed to develop the traditions of gold embroidery and jewelry in folk applied arts, promote their unique samples, further strengthen friendship and cooperation, enhance cultural-humanitarian relations between peoples through mutual exchange of experience in these areas, preserve and restore the professional traditions and handicraft schools passed down from generation to generation, as well as increase the tourism potential of the country.
