The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed a decree on measures for further development of domestic and pilgrim tourism in Uzbekistan.

According to the document, flights of foreign airlines to Uzbekistan, providing for the organization of travel of foreign tourists from Indonesia, Bangladesh and Malaysia to Uzbekistan, as well as within the framework of the “Umra+” program, are carried out without hindrance, except for take-off and landing safety rules.

A visa-free regime will be established starting March 1, 2021, for a period of 10 days from the date of entry into the territory of Uzbekistan for citizens of Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and China, including the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao of China, with subject to the presentation of air tickets for departure to their own or a third country.
