Tashkent hosts the 2nd Global Forum of Interparliamentary Cooperation in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva read President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s address to the forum participants.

As noted in the address of the Head of state, holding the Global Forum on interparliamentary cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals is becoming a tradition.

– The fact that this prestigious forum is being held in our country for the second time is a great honor for us, and we consider this a high recognition of our efforts towards achieving sustainable development goals at the international level, – says Mrs. Narbayeva. – I can say with confidence that this political forum serves as an essential platform for communicating the results achieved by countries to the international community, mutual exchange of experience, developing the necessary recommendations and promoting initiatives.
