The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, departed for this country on April 18 on a state visit.

As previously reported, the program of the stay in Dushanbe envisages high-level talks, several bilateral meetings, and joint events.

Following the talks, it is planned to adopt a solid package of agreements to strengthen and develop multifaceted cooperation in various fields.
