On January 17, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for India to attend the 9th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2019.
The main events of the summit will be held on January 18.
The Head of the state will address the plenary session of the summit, as well as hold negotiations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, held in the city of Gandhinagar at the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2003, is the largest international forum in the region.
Gujarat, the center of pharmaceutical industry, is home to the world’s leading companies. Within the framework of the summit, the possibility of expanding trade and business between companies and regions of Uzbekistan will be considered.
