President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Baku on March 1 on a working visit at the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other officials welcomed the President of Uzbekistan at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

A meeting of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will take place today. The leaders will discuss the practical implementation of previously reached agreements.

A summit of one of the largest international structures, the Non-Aligned Movement, will be held in Baku on March 2. The President of Uzbekistan will address the plenary session of the event.
