At the meeting, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was noted that a completely new system for working with youth will be introduced.

The social status, abilities and interests of youth aged 14-30 were studied. Targeted work will be carried out with them based on certain criteria.

At the same time:

– 4.4 million young people who study well, have established entrepreneurship, work in the official sector, and are socially active are included in the “good” category;

– 4.6 million young people who have not found a job in the official sector, but are socially active, are included in the “middle” category;

– 396 thousand young people waiting for the care and attention of the state and those in need of support are included in the category “in a difficult situation”.
