President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov, who heads the delegation of Kyrgyzstan at the International Conference in Tashkent.

Views were exchanged on the issues of the bilateral agenda and regional interaction.

Akylbek Japarov conveyed to the Leader of Uzbekistan sincere greetings and best wishes from the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov.

The issues of practical implementation of the agreements adopted during the Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan summit at the highest level in March this year were discussed.

The importance of the promotion of priority cooperation projects in industry, energy, agriculture, transport and logistics, organization of the activities of a joint investment company was emphasized.
