President Shavkat Mirziyoyev dwelt on foreign policy issues in an interview for the “Yangi O’zbekiston” (New Uzbekistan) newspaper.
The Head of the state noted that the Foreign Policy Concept of the Republic of Uzbekistan is being improved at present.
“The main attention in this important document is paid to further strengthening strategic partnership in the spirit of centuries-old friendship and good-neighborliness and mutual trust of our relations with the Central Asian states, which are a priority of our foreign policy”, the President of Uzbekistan noted. – The multifaceted and mutually beneficial relations of Uzbekistan with Russia, China, the United States, Turkey, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Japan, India, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and other countries are enhancing. As a close neighbor of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan is interested in the early establishment of peace and stability in this country”.
