President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping will arrive in Uzbekistan with a state visit on 21 June 2016 at the invitation of President Islam Karimov.

President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping will arrive in Uzbekistan with a state visit on 21 June 2016 at the invitation of President Islam Karimov.

The current state and development prospects of Uzbek-Chinese relations, topical regional and international political issues will be discussed during the meetings and negotiations at the highest level.

During the visit Xi Jinping is also planned to make a speech to the members of the Senate and deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

A joint declaration of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the People’s Republic of China will be issued, agreements and other documents, aimed at further strengthening multi-faceted cooperation between our countries, are to be signed following the visit.

President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping will also attend the meeting of Heads of State Council of the SCO in Tashkent.
