President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov is to pay a state visit to the People’s Republic of China on August 19-20 at the invitation of President of the PRC Xi Jinping.   

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov is to pay a state visit to the People’s Republic of China on August 19-20 at the invitation of President of the PRC Xi Jinping.    

Meetings with the Chinese leadership are expected to include discussion of the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, exchange of views on key aspects in the enhancement of strategic partnership between our two nations. The two sides are to deliberate also on regional and international issues.

Talks at the highest level are anticipated to produce a joint declaration and a number of intergovernmental and other documents dedicated to the steadfast consolidation of the Uzbek-Chinese cooperation across a variety of spheres.
