The visit of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Samarkand, who participated in the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, has ended.

The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other officials saw off the distinguished guest at Samarkand International Airport.

As previously reported, this is the third visit of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan this year.

Ilham Aliyev visited Uzbekistan on June 21, 2022, on a state visit at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The President of Azerbaijan also visited Samarkand on September 15 to participate as a guest of honor at the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
