President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for the United Arab Emirates on May 15.

The Head of the state will take part in mourning events in memory of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who died following an extended illness on May 13.

The visit program also includes a bilateral meeting with the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was elected the UAE President by the Supreme Council of the country the day before.
