President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chairs a videoconference on the current tasks of introducing a new system of working with youth.

– All leaders should know one thing: working with young people, who are our future, is a vital issue for us! – the Head of state noted. – If we do not create conditions for young people today, if we do not promote initiatives to support them, then how will we build New Uzbekistan?

Over the past period, a completely new vertical system has been created to organize work in mahallas in the direction of youth policy. For 9400 mahallas, youth leaders were selected from among selfless and enterprising young people. More than 100 opportunities have been created in mahallas. Last year only:

– 4 trillion UZS of credit funds were allocated for youth entrepreneurship, 150 projects were launched, 325 thousand jobs were created;

– 43 thousand hectares of sown areas were allocated, which ensured the employment of 435 thousand young people;

– over 32 thousand boys and girls were given subsidies, which were used to purchase equipment and machinery for them.
