Tashkent hosted a presentation of the National Action Plan to ensure health safety in Uzbekistan, designed for 2024-2028.

Representatives of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, WHO, and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) attended the event.

As noted, drawing up a National Health Safety Action Plan requires inclusive and effective intersectoral coordination at all stages. It plays a vital role in interacting with various WHO technical groups and supporting countries’ efforts to ensure capacity building to achieve national, regional, and global health safety and emergency prevention.

This strategic framework serves as a unifying tool to enhance initiatives’ capacity.
