Uzbekistan diplomats held a virtual meeting with representatives of the University of Tsukuba to discuss the organization of the 4th University Rectors Forum of Uzbekistan and Japan to further enhance ties with Japanese universities in science and education.

The parties discussed organizational, technical and financial issues related to the forum. Several events are planned within the framework of the forum, such as a forum of rectors with the participation of rectors of higher education institutions, a forum of scientific researchers, and an academic forum with the participation of students from two countries, as well as Uzbekistan Culture Week.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize regular meetings on holding joint events, as well as discussing other areas of cooperation.
