The First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Akhmedov, Deputy Minister of Culture Murodjon Majidov, and relevant officials visited Samarkand city. The Deputy Hokim of Samarkand region Rustam Qobilov accompanied them.

Working group members studied the conditions and possibilities for holding the Sharq Taronalari festival in the Eternal City complex.

The importance of organizing concert programs in 16 cities and districts of Samarkand region with the participation of famous foreign artists and representatives of the Uzbek stage, as well as the formation of small working groups consisting of representatives of various ministries and agencies, was noted.

The issues of creating operational headquarters at the international airport and at the railway station of Samarkand, selecting and training over 100 volunteers who will accompany foreign festival participants were discussed.

Instructions were given to create the necessary conditions for organizing fairs and exhibitions with the participation of masters and artisans from other regions.
