On August 9-16, Tashkent will host the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics.

Members of the International Committee gathered in Tashkent to assess the preparations for the event. They visited the Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan, where the competition will be held, 12 hotels designed for participants, and the congress hall in New Uzbekistan, and discussed issues related to the technical infrastructure of the facilities.

The Ministry of Digital Technologies reviewed the report on Uzbekistan’s preparations for IOI-2026. The results achieved in the industry, as well as the opportunities created in Uzbekistan for foreign IT companies, were presented at the meeting.
