Preparations are underway to hold the First Uzbekistan – India Youth Forum

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India Sardor Rustambayev met with Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Meeta Rajivlochan in New Delhi.

At the event, information was provided on the consistent work carried out in Uzbekistan to create favorable conditions for young people to acquire modern knowledge, become competitive specialists, and support their active participation in the country’s renovation process.

The special role and importance of youth cooperation in strengthening historical ties between Uzbekistan and India was emphasized.

The parties discussed organizational issues related to ensuring the active participation of Indian representatives in the World Youth Festival, to be held in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Jizzakh, and Khorezm regions on June 25-30. Special attention is paid to the organizational aspects of the First Uzbekistan – India Youth Forum within the framework of the upcoming major international event.

During the talks, an agreement was reached on the preparation and adoption of a memorandum covering short-, medium- and long-term measures to strengthen cooperation between the Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of India.
