The Academy of the Armed Forces hosted a meeting on “Organizational-legal foundations for the preparation and conduction of the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

Issues of informing the voters about the normative-legal acts on the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the procedure for holding elections were discussed at the meeting.

Chairman of Mirzo-Ulugbek district Council of the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” Botir Sodikov, an activist of the party Shukrullo Nazarov and a Senior Assistant to the Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Sherzod Khayitov spoke about important issues related to the elections and their conduction. Detailed answers to the questions of military personnel were given.
