Events of Health Days are being conducted under the slogan of “Attention and care for every one” in the country at the initiative of the Health Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As part of the implementation of the Year of Maternal and Child Health state programme, professors and leading specialists of the republican scientific oncology centre and clinic No 2 of the Tashkent medical academy are also conducting a number of events in Bukhara Region.

As a result of special attention being paid to reforming the country’s health care system and to further strengthening its material and technical base, medical establishments in Bukhara Region are also being reconstructed gradually and modern conditions are being created here.

Medical workers from the capital city visited one of such medical establishments – the region’s early oncological treatment clinic.

“Qualified medical workers have conducted medical examinations of patients and have given recommendations on treatment procedures,” says U.Mamedov, chief doctor of the Bukhara Regional early oncological treatment clinic.

The medical workers who came from the capital city are also giving recommendations on arranging specialized medical help in territories and using modern equipment correctly and effectively.

During conversations being held at medical establishments, these experienced medical workers are paying special attention to the detection of early symptoms of cancer and appropriate procedures.
