Qoraqalpoghiston district electoral commission No 1 for the elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is conducting training seminars devoted to issues of raising the legal awareness of precinct electoral commissions’ members and the effective work organization of these commissions.

Qoraqalpoghiston district electoral commission No 1 for the elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is conducting training seminars devoted to issues of raising the legal awareness of precinct electoral commissions’ members and the effective work organization of these commissions.

Such an event held in Muynoq District was attended by experts of the Central Electoral Commission, employees of the Qoraqalpoghiston regional department of the independent institute for monitoring civil society formation and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Qoraqalpoghiston.

In this district, 17 electoral precincts were formed for the elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. There polling stations have been provided with the necessary means of communication and computer equipment, legal literature and booklets on electoral legislation, and all the necessary conditions have been created there for voters.

During the seminar, an exchange of opinions took place on tasks of those electoral commissions’ members, on carrying out the work of electoral precincts on the basis of democratic principles of legality and transparency. Experts and specialists gave answers to questions that were of interest to participants in the seminar.

Such training seminars have also been conducted in Ellikqala and Beruniy Districts.
