“I am pleased to share that the international credit rating agency Moody’s has changed Uzbekistan’s sovereign credit rating outlook from ‘stable’ to ‘positive’”, wrote Assistant to the President Saida Mirziyoyeva on Telegram.
“This is a favorable assessment of the reform program being implemented by the President of our country and a confirmation of the correctness of the chosen path.
Today, foreign investors perceive Uzbekistan as a reliable partner capable of maintaining stable growth despite global uncertainty. All these efforts were reflected in the successful organization of the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The improved outlook is the first step toward raising Uzbekistan’s credit rating to a solid investment grade by 2030.
At the same time, it is essential to understand that this goal can only be achieved through collective efforts, by enhancing the competitiveness of our economy and maintaining macroeconomic stability”, Saida Mirziyoyeva noted.
