Special attention is being paid at polling stations to ensuring the conducting of this important political event thoroughly in every respect and at a high level in accordance with the law “On elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and the main events programme of the Central Electoral Commission.

The necessary equipment, technical means and methodological booklets have been provided for the polling stations.

It is expected that more than 1 million 984 thousand voters will cast their votes at 773 polling stations formed in Andijon Region. Precinct electoral commissions have been formed now. In line with a resolution of the district electoral commission, the composition of the precinct electoral commissions has been confirmed and published in media.

All the necessary conditions are being created at polling station No 37, located in general education school No 24, for nearly 3 thousand citizens to exercise their right freely.

“A list of citizens who will be voting in the elections has been formed. The necessary conditions and conveniences are being created for them to cast their votes. These days, events are being arranged in the territory of the precinct to raise voters’ knowledge about the electoral legislation and to provide them with information relating to the elections,” says the chairperson of precinct electoral commission No 37, Nortoji Eraliyeva.
