On July 25, Tashkent hosted the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The parties conducted a thorough review of bilateral relations, discussed the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level, and also agreed on a schedule of upcoming events.
The need to continue close coordination between the foreign ministries to ensure the implementation of joint projects in trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres was emphasized.
During the negotiations, the importance of further expanding the contractual and legal framework of relations, taking into account the developing ties in all directions, was noted.
Special attention was paid to the issues of strengthening cooperation within multilateral structures, primarily the United Nations and the Organization of Turkic States.
The parties also exchanged views on current international and regional issues.
