According to JSC Uzbekistan Airways, the plane that took off from Istanbul was sent to Tashkent airport.

On January 18, 2022, due to unfavorable weather conditions (heavy snowfall, insufficient visibility), the HY-280 flight on the Istanbul – Urgench route, was sent to Tashkent airport.

All 98 passengers of the flight are accommodated in the hotel. They will fly to Urgench on January 19 on flight HY-051.

Due to bad weather conditions in Urgench, flight HY-054 on the Urgench – Tashkent route was also canceled. Passengers of this flight will fly to Tashkent on January 19 by flight HY-052.
