All industrial enterprises of the region, business entities, organizations, departments, markets, catering and trade complexes, except for closed education institutions, are operating as usual. Work is in full swing at construction sites and fields. Public transport provides services to the population without interruption. Food products and medicines are sold in accordance with daily needs in markets, pharmacies and other retail outlets.

“On the occasion of the national holiday Navruz, some of our residents want to visit historical monuments and museums. In order to warn them of the coronavirus pandemic that has spread around the world, we prepared special posters and hung them in public places and at tourism sites. Such posters are placed in the mausoleums of Hakim at-Termizi, Sulton Saodat, Iso Termezi, Kokildor ata, Alauddin Attor, Termez Archaeological Museum, the Museum of History and Culture of Surkhandarya region”, says Z. Namozov, head of the regional territorial department of the State Committee for Tourism Development.
