UzA photojournalists took part in a training workshop organized by the TASS Russian News Agency for photojournalists of news agencies of the CIS countries.

The workshop included an introduction to the work of the editorial staff and practical exercises conducted by experienced photographers and videographers of the agency. Photo reports were prepared and discussed on “Modern trends in news photography”, “Peculiarities of photographing official events”, “Sports photojournalism”, “Technical aspects of video filming of news stories, as well as difficult situations that arise during photo and video filming”.

“At the workshop, I received new useful information”, says UzA photojournalist for Navoi region Siroj Aslonov. – We exchanged experience with colleagues from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, got acquainted with their methods and style of work. Particularly interesting were the courses devoted to a new direction for us – the rules of video filming of news stories.
